Our phone lines open at 8:00am for urgent appointments only. We advise patients to ring us after 10:00am for any non-urgent queries as the phone lines are very busy between 8:00am – 10:00am.
Approximately half of the appointments are reserved for the same day only including telephone consultations. Patients can pre-book routine appointments with nurse, HCA and doctors.
Telephone consultations are usually done after the morning surgery session. The doctors usually make the phone calls at midday afternoon time. The doctors are unable to call patients at a specific time, however if you missed the call from the doctor please ring us as soon you can so we can put you through to the GP but please note this is not always possible as doctors may finish their shift on that day or running their afternoon session.
Home Visits requests are made on the same day before 10:30am. The duty doctor will be doing the home visits around lunch time. Please note that the doctors will usually call patients to triage before making the visit.
The majority of GP and nurse appointments are ten minute duration. We ask that you try to observe the “ One appointment, one problem” ethos. We strive to deal with each medical problem to the highest standard and this proves to be impossible if we are asked to deal with a number of problems in one appointment slot. Please also note that your appointment is for you only. Please do not ask the doctor to deal with the problems of a child or other relative in the same appointment slot. Please make a separate appointment for your child/relative if they need to be seen as well.
You can also book non-urgent appointments outside our opening hours with the Haringey Extended Hours Hub. Appointments in the hubs are available from 18:30pm – 20:30pm, Monday to Friday and from 8:00am – 20:00pm on the weekends
